One of my paintings on Comedian K-Von's wall. Featured on E
networks "Hot Guys Who Cook".
- I am writing this to inform you that the art of Rebecca Bessette is
second to none. I perused hundreds of sites and various prints
before deciding I should try to get an original piece from an
amazing artist I could build a relationship with.
Shortly thereafter I found Rebecca's site. Her art perfectly
represented what I was looking for in my home and office. Its
youthful, has a wonderful energy to it, and she makes excellent
use of brilliant colors.
I could not be happier with the piece I purchased and have plans
to acquire more. I am in the entertainment industry and when my
home was being filmed for an interview the TV producers
specifically asked if they could film my living room where
Rebecca's piece is on display. With her approval we did just
that.
Sincerely,
K-von

- Rebecca Bessette’s art is
honest in its entire approach. It is ‘honest’ in that she does not seek
to placate the world with what she figures others regard as ‘appropriate
aesthetics.’ She seeks to explore her insides, her own mind, her soul
and to do so in her own way. This is why people invest in her art: it is
real and from the heart. Her imagination offers the viewer what can very
well be described as a ‘spiritual autobiography’—a world that is seen
through the prism of Rebecca Bessette, the artist. There is so much
heart and passion in her work. The emotion that Rebecca invests into her
art is virtually priceless, giving it its value and making it worthy to
be apart of a collector’s compilation.
I am inspired by her art. It reaches me on a multitude of levels: it is
sometimes bawdy, innocent, twisted, warm, introspective, charismatic,
native, imaginative but always creative and organic. Possessing the
technical skill, she is armed to let her imagination roam and the
results are found in an alternate reality of the artist’s mind. The
journey is a wonderland and joy to behold. The result is a beautiful
work of art, always. It is pure Bessette.
